Translation Work
The Art of Destruction – Book Chapter
I contributed to the Turkish translation of The Art of Destruction as a chapter translator.
The book examines destructiveness, aggression, and destructive dimensions of our relationships with ourselves and others within psychoanalytic thought, approaching these concepts from clinical and theoretical perspectives.
I translated selected chapters of the book from English into Turkish. This work forms part of my translation work in psychoanalytic and psychodynamic literature.

Gilles Deleuze – L’Abécédaire de Gilles Deleuze Interview Translation
I translated the first two sections of L’Abécédaire de Gilles Deleuze, the series of interviews between French philosopher Gilles Deleuze and Claire Parnet, into Turkish.In this extended interview, Deleuze discusses different concepts and experiences through the letters of the alphabet. The sections I have translated are:
A – Animal: Deleuze’s reflections on animals, becoming-animal, writing, and animal worlds.
B – Boisson (Drink): Deleuze’s reflections on drinking, alcohol, addiction, work, and life.
This forms part of my translation work aimed at making Deleuze’s thought more accessible in Turkish.
Brian Massumi – Realer Than Real: The Simulacrum According to Deleuze and Guattari
I translated Canadian philosopher and social theorist Brian Massumi’s article Realer Than Real: The Simulacrum According to Deleuze and Guattari into Turkish.In the article, Massumi examines the concept of the simulacrum through the thought of Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari, discussing the relations between representation, reality, resemblance, and difference. Moving beyond an understanding of the simulacrum as a copy or distorted representation of reality, the text offers a different way of thinking about the production of reality and difference within Deleuze and Guattari’s philosophy.
This translation forms part of my work aimed at making texts in contemporary philosophy, Deleuze and Guattari studies, and social theory more accessible in Turkish.
Groups
I organize groups for mental health professionals in psychoanalysis, psychodynamic theory, philosophy, and related fields. These groups bring together reading, discussion, and experience, considering not only theoretical texts but also the experiences and processes of thought that emerge within the group.
Hans-Georg Gadamer – Truth and Method (2026)
A reading and experience group for mental health professionals centered on Hans-Georg Gadamer’s Truth and Method, with particular attention to psychoanalytic listening and observation, language, and hermeneutics.
Harry Guntrip – Psychoanalytic Theory, Therapy and the Self (April–October 2026)
A reading and experience group for mental health professionals exploring Harry Guntrip’s work on psychoanalytic theory, object relations, and the self. Alongside theoretical readings, group dynamics and experiences emerging within the group formed part of the work.
Ghosts of Decay: A Reading of Dellamorte Dellamore (April 2026)
A film reading of Michele Soavi’s Dellamorte Dellamore through Julia Kristeva’s concept of the abject and Mark Fisher’s concept of hauntology.
The Praxis of Non-Directive Play Therapy: Playing on a Theoretical Ground

A group study examining the relationship between theoretical formulation and practice in non-directive play therapy approaches. The work focused on how theoretical formulations could be developed step by step through role-play exercises.

A theoretical seminar in which I examined the historical development of the concept of the superego in Sigmund Freud’s work, Melanie Klein’s theoretical contributions, and the ways modern psychoanalytic theorists have conceptualized the functions of the superego from a historical and comparative perspective.

Academic Work
The Relationship Between Psychological Resilience and Perceived Social Support in Adults
27th International Psychological Counseling and Guidance Congress – June 2026
Starting from the question of whether psychological resilience increases as perceived social support increases in adults, I presented a study examining the relationship between psychological resilience and perceived social support at the 27th International Psychological Counseling and Guidance Congress.
The study found a positive relationship between perceived social support and psychological resilience. Among the dimensions of social support, support from friends showed the strongest relationship with psychological resilience. Perceived social support was also found to be a significant predictor of psychological resilience, accounting for 16% of its variance.

In my master’s thesis, I am examining the mediating role of self-compassion in the relationship between perceived parental acceptance-rejection and body satisfaction among adults aged 18–50.
