Mustafa Burak Arabacı

I graduated from the Psychological Counseling and Guidance program at Ege University in 2016. During my undergraduate studies, I completed a six-month internship at the Psychological Counseling Unit of Gaziemir Municipality Women’s Counseling Center.

Following graduation, I completed my military service as a reserve officer in Nusaybin, Mardin, where I worked as a psychological counselor.

Over the following years, I worked as a psychological counselor in different institutional settings. I currently provide individual psychological counseling for adults at Miyav Psikolojik Danışmanlık in Karşıyaka, Izmir, and online.

Sessions are available in English and Turkish.

Psychoanalytic and Psychodynamic Studies

My current work is primarily informed by psychoanalytic and psychodynamic theories of psychotherapy and the Masterson Approach.

Between 2021 and 2024, I completed the three-year Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy of Disorders of the Self program organized by the International Masterson Institute (New York), including supervision conducted in English.

I continue my education and studies in psychoanalytic and psychodynamic theory.

Graduate Studies

I am currently continuing my master’s degree in Psychological Counseling and Guidance at İzmir Democracy University and am at the thesis stage of the program.

Writing and Professional Work

Alongside my psychological counseling practice, I write and work on subjects related to psychology, psychoanalytic theory, and psychodynamic thought.

My articles have been published in Psychology Times and Undra Psychology Magazine.

I also organize reading and discussion groups concerned with psychoanalytic theory, psychotherapy, and related philosophical works.

Psychological Counseling
